Our vet clinic has used this product for over a year on luxury vinyl plank flooring. We use a microfiber pad mop which has an attached spray bottle and use it at the 3oz/gal dilution. There is now a black residue that has built up. It is worse at edges and corners, I believe where the mop is picked up and leaves more liquid. Anytime we wipe up isolated areas with a water moistened paper towel, the towel is disgustingly dark. Also we can see dark streaks have filled in the texture of the flooring. Looking for suggestions on how to clean the residue and how to avoid this in the future. Elbow grease with water/vinegar was too slow to be practical. Also tried RTU “Rejuvinate” spray with a paper towel, also too slow.
I discovered the regular Odoban years ago at my veterinarian’s office when I asked how they kept the place smelling so clean. Used the original scent forever but when I had my grout re-stained and sealed the contractor told me to use a PH neutral cleaner to prolong the life of the grout. Just found that Home Depot now carries it in the store near me so no more ordering online! Excellent product! I still use the regular Odoban for disinfecting. I’ve recommended these products to all my friends. They do everything they claim and at a very reasonable price.
Which ofoban can I use for hardwood floors?
Question: Is the Professional Series OdoBan Neutral PH green bottle on Amazon a different product than the OdoBan Neutral PH in the white bottle sold at Home Depot?
If so, what is the difference?
This is a great product and we use it all the time. we switched to the PH from the original, but with different dilution does that reduce the disinfectant effectiveness? Does it have the same ingredients as the regular?
What’s wrong with the product dilution table? 1:32 should be 4oz per gallon, not 3oz. 1:16 is not 5 oz per gallon but 8.
If you cannot get a simple math right…I find it difficult to trust your product claims.
Does a good job cleaning porcelain tile floors. Pleasant smell. Only problem was it left a slight film on the tile after it dried.
No Rinse Floor Cleaner
Product was easy to use, and worked well in our public areas.
Greatest Cleaner…especially if you own pets
Odoban no rinse cleaner is the best product I have ever found for cleaning, especially if you own multiple pets. Easy to use, no rinsing. Floors dry to a clean finish.
Wish that I had found this sooner. Highly recommend this.
I used to buy Bona for my tile and wood floors, but now I wouldn’t go back after using OdoBan. I used to have a weird smell from my tile floors for a few hours after cleaning, even on the epoxy grouted tile floors in the bathroom. Odoban leaves a faint pleasant smell instead, not overpowering. This cleans just as well and is much better value. I hope Home Depot never stops carrying this product!
Pros: Looks Great, Effective
