OdoBan, Odor Eliminator, is a balanced, neutral pH formulation, which combines odor counteractants with a detergent and a quaternary ammonium compound for effective deodorizing, cleaning and disinfecting when used as directed.

Where to Use

OdoBan use-solutions are noncorrosive and nonstaining to plastic, vinyl, synthetics, enamel, tile and most common metals. OdoBan can be used on nonporous surfaces such as walls, tables, floors, chairs, countertops, bathroom fixtures, sinks, shelves, racks and carts. OdoBan may be used in hospitals, medical and dental offices, nursing homes, daycare centers, nurseries, restaurants and bars, cafeterias, institutional facilities, public restrooms, institutions, schools, athletic facilities, campgrounds, playgrounds, public facilities, transportation terminals, hotels and motels, factories, business and office buildings, buses, ambulances, trains and taxis.

Deodorizer Directions

OdoBan is effective at eliminating odors on porous surfaces such as upholstery, drapes, carpets, bedding, shower curtains and mattresses as well as nonporous surfaces such as walls and floors. Affected areas should be saturated with OdoBan to remain damp for at least 10 minutes. Then blot with a clean cloth and allow to dry.

Disinfectant Directions

OdoBan is a Hospital Disinfectant for precleaned surfaces at 5 oz. per gallon of water, Bactericidal according to the AOAC Use Dilution Test Method, and a Mildewstat according to the EPA Mildew-Fungistatic guidelines against germs; ‡such as, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella choleraesuis, Staphylococcus aureus (Staph), Streptococcus pyogenes (Strep), Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Vancomycin Resistant Enterococcus faecalis (VREF), Escherichia coli (E. coli) 0157:H7, Listeria monocytogenes, Serratia marcescens, Aspergillus niger.

Disinfection/Mold and Mildew Control
Directions: Remove heavy soil, then thoroughly clean surfaces. Apply use-solution to hard, nonporous surfaces as required. Treated surfaces must remain wet for 10 minutes.

Virucidal* Directions

OdoBan, at 5 oz. per gallon of water, is Virucidal* according to the virucidal qualification against germs; ‡such as, *Herpes Simplex Type 2, Influenza A/Hong Kong, HIV-1 (AIDS Virus).

Virucidal* Directions: Follow disinfection directions. Treated surfaces must remain wet for 60 seconds.

KILS HIV ON PRECLEANED ENVIRONMENTAL SURFA CES/OBJECTS PREVIOUSLY SOILED WITH BLOOD/BODY FLUIDS, in health care settings or other settings in which there is an expected likelihood of soiling of inanimate surfaces/objects with blood or body fluids and in which the surfaces/objects likely to be soiled with blood or body fluids can be associated with the potential for transmission of human immunodeficiency virus Type 1 (HIV-1) (associated with AIDS). "SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLEANING AND DECONTAMINATION AGAINST HIV-1 ON SURFACES/OBJECTS SOILED WITH BLOOD/BODY FLUIDS". Personal Protection: Clean-up should always be done wearing protective latex gloves, gowns, masks and eye protection. Cleaning Procedure: Blood and other body fluids containing HIV must be thoroughly cleaned from surfaces and objects before application of this product. Contact Time: Leave surface wet for 60 seconds. Use a 10 minute contact time for disinfection against all other bacteria and fungi claimed. Disposal of Infectious Materials: Blood, body fluids, cleaning materials and clothing should be autoclaved and disposed of according to local regulations for infectious waste disposal.

Sanitizer Directions

OdoBan is a sanitizer for precleaned, hard and nonporous nonfood contact surfaces according to the method for Inanimate Nonfood Contact Surface Sanitizer in 60 seconds at 5 oz. per gallon of water against germs; †such as, Streptococcus pyogenes (Strep), Escherichia coli 0157:H7(E. coli) (pathogenic strain), Listeria monocytogenes, Staphylococcus aureus (Staph), Klebsiella pneumoniae.

Sanitizing: Remove heavy soil, then thoroughly clean surfaces. To sanitize, apply use-solution to nonfood contact surfaces as required. Let stand 60 seconds then wipe.
